Methodology in preparation

The full methodology document for the Demeter Olive Season Index (DOSI) is in preparation alongside the calibration cycle. DOSI is a weather-derived index that tracks growing conditions across the major Mediterranean olive-producing regions — Spain, Italy and Greece — published as a basin composite plus per-country sub-indices.

The DOSI methodology will follow the same design principles as the DASI methodology — observable and universal data, continuous availability, spatially-explicit construction — with variable weights and stage definitions tuned for olives.

For early access to the methodology document or to discuss DOSI for research and licensing purposes, please contact the index team.
